Responsibilities
- Operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on dedicated Southeast regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and FMCSA compliance standards
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance requirements
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and delivery documentation
- Deliver freight on time with zero-touch or minimal-touch requirements
- Communicate proactively with customers and dispatch regarding delays
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 1 year OTR experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong knowledge of Southeast regional geography
- Ability to work independently while maintaining customer focus
