Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul routes across the continental US
- Maintain accurate electronic logs, DOT compliance records, and pre/post-trip inspections
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel
- Manage delivery schedules to ensure on-time performance and customer satisfaction
- Report vehicle maintenance issues and coordinate repairs through fleet management
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong route planning and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
