Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and documents to residential and commercial locations in a safe and timely manner.
- Follow designated delivery routes and adhere to time schedules to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Practice safe driving habits at all times, obeying all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Interact professionally and courteously with clients, including receiving signatures and verifying delivery details.
- Inspect vehicles daily for cleanliness and mechanical issues; report any problems to management immediately.
- Handle cash and electronic payments accurately and process paperwork as required.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and mileage using company-provided technology.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C or higher) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Reliable personal vehicle or ability to obtain a company vehicle.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong navigation skills and proficiency with GPS systems.
- Physical stamina to lift packages (up to 50 lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
