Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips and report maintenance needs
- Plan efficient routes using GPS systems
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Communicate with dispatch and clients professionally
- Ensure cargo security and integrity
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license (current)
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR and no preventable accidents in 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds occasionally
- Basic GPS and electronic logging knowledge
- Flexible schedule including weekends
