Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain meticulous logbooks
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure optimal safety and performance
- Load/unload freight with precision using required equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Minimize fuel consumption through efficient driving practices
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (3+ years experience preferred)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proven experience with dry van refrigerated trailers
- Strong knowledge of highway systems and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Previous safety certifications a plus
