Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on designated routes throughout San Francisco Bay Area
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation (e.g., bills of lading, time sheets)
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes for efficiency while meeting tight delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area geography and traffic patterns
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements (Hazmat a plus)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and communication skills
