Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently across assigned routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT compliant) and digital paperwork.
- Unload freight at delivery locations and verify shipment accuracy.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
- Keep the truck and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (OTR or Local).
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging devices (ELD).
