Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local and regional deliveries in St. Louis area
- Manage loading/unloading of freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and mileage records
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
- Clean MVR and no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
- Smartphone with reliable data connectivity
- Commercial auto insurance (minimum $1M liability)
- St. Louis metro area residency required
