Responsibilities
- Safely operate 24-26 ft box trucks for local/regional deliveries within Texas
- Maintain accurate delivery records and route documentation
- Manage loading/unloading operations with proper equipment handling
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Proven box truck operation experience (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate pallet jacks
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Smartphone with reliable internet access for communication
- DOT medical certification and required documentation
- Local Houston metro area residency preferred
