Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain your DOT-compliant box truck for regional deliveries
- Load/unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Manage delivery documentation and electronic logging (ELD)
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery and fuel efficiency
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Uphold company safety standards and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable box truck experience
- Proof of active DOT medical certification
- Reliable box truck (26ft+ preferred) with current registration and insurance
- Basic mechanical knowledge for preventive maintenance
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work flexible hours
- Smartphone proficiency for logistics apps
