Responsibilities
- Safe and Timely Delivery: Transport packages to customers' doorsteps safely and within the agreed-upon timeframes.
- Customer Interaction: Provide professional, courteous, and helpful service to every client you encounter.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is clean and in safe working condition.
- Route Management: Utilize GPS technology to plan the most efficient routes and manage delivery stops effectively.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and other paperwork as required.
- Problem Solving: Handle delivery exceptions, such as wrong addresses or missed deliveries, with a solution-oriented approach.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: A valid Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Vehicle: Access to a reliable personal vehicle or willingness to use company vehicle.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Technology Proficiency: Basic smartphone skills for navigation and app-based delivery tracking.
