Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to residential and commercial addresses.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring items are handled with care and placed in the correct delivery zones.
- Utilize handheld GPS devices to plan the most efficient routes and manage delivery schedules.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients politely and confirming package details.
- Inspect the vehicle daily for cleanliness and perform basic maintenance checks.
- Handle cash or digital payments accurately for cash-on-delivery orders.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record (no major infractions).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable smartphone with data connectivity for navigation and dispatch updates.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
