Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to residential and commercial destinations in the San Antonio area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and vehicle maintenance.
- Deliver packages with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and professional customer interaction.
- Observe all traffic laws and safety regulations to minimize risk and ensure the safety of passengers and pedestrians.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and organize cargo loading for optimal efficiency.
- Handle cash and digital payments accurately and resolve any delivery-related customer inquiries professionally.
- Adhere to all company policies, including route planning and time management guidelines.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift packages weighing between 25 and 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong navigation skills with a working knowledge of the San Antonio metropolitan area and surrounding highways.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable access to a smartphone for job updates and route management.
