Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, and time-sensitive pharmaceuticals using temperature-controlled vehicles
- Maintain precise delivery schedules for hospitals, labs, and clinics across Toledo metro area Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and chain-of-custody documentation standards
- Operate GPS tracking systems and communicate delivery status via mobile app
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of transport units
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare facility staff
- Respond to urgent delivery requests with 24/7 on-call rotation
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years medical courier or specialized logistics experience
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency with temperature monitoring systems and GPS technology
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate hospital corridors safely
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
