Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to residential and commercial addresses within the Sacramento metropolitan area.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain digital signatures or proof of delivery upon completion.
- Inspect delivery vehicles before the start of each shift and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment inside and around the delivery vehicle.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve any delivery issues with a positive attitude.
- Complete and submit all necessary delivery paperwork and logs in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to navigate efficiently using GPS and mapping apps.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on punctuality and professionalism.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and accessing digital tools.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
