Responsibilities
- Safely transporting packages to residential and commercial addresses within a designated local route.
- Interacting professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle inquiries.
- Loading and unloading merchandise from delivery vehicles efficiently.
- Verifying delivery addresses and collecting payments or signatures as required.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
- Completing daily logs and paperwork accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or a valid state driver's license.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit and able to lift packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and order management.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
