Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for long-haul and regional freight transport
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain meticulous delivery logs
- Inspect and maintain vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding shipment status
- Implement secure cargo loading/unloading procedures
- Utilize advanced telematics systems for real-time tracking
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 3 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with HOS regulations and electronic logging devices
- Strong navigation skills across western mountainous terrain
- HAZMAT certification preferred (will provide training)
- Exceptional safety record and defensive driving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work variable schedules
