Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete accurate pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Optimize delivery routes while maintaining strict schedule adherence
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and logbooks per DOT standards
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years verifiable)
- 1+ year dedicated OTR experience preferred
- Pass federal DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices and fleet management systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform securement procedures
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends/holidays
- Must reside within 50 miles of Columbus, OH
