Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight across the Northeast corridor using modern, well-maintained tractors
- Manage pre/post-trip inspections and electronic logging systems
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and on-time delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and freight handling procedures
- Uphold strict compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Build client relationships through professional communication and service excellence
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform loading/unloading duties
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices and route planning software
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening per DOT requirements
- Regional driving experience preferred
