Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport on construction sites and urban routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain detailed equipment logs
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and California DOT regulations
- Collaborate with site supervisors to optimize delivery schedules
- Load/unload materials using heavy equipment with precision
- Maintain clean and compliant vehicle documentation
- Support emergency response during weather-related disruptions
Qualifications
- Valid California Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 3 years dump truck experience
- HAZMAT certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of Bay Area traffic patterns and construction zones
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Experience with GPS navigation and fleet management software
