Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy dump trucks to transport construction materials, soil, and debris to and from job sites.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance.
- Secure loads properly to prevent shifting, damage to cargo, and accidents.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and delivery records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site foremen regarding schedules and route changes.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience driving dump trucks or heavy haul vehicles.
- Strong understanding of DOT hours-of-service regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Excellent physical stamina, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to lift heavy items.
- Proven track record of punctuality and reliable attendance.
