Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and compliant manner at all times.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Complete all required DOT paperwork, logs, and delivery documents accurately.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL (Driver's License).
- Current DOT Medical Card required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends.
