Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and bulk goods
- Pre-trip/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance and safety
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatchers and site supervisors for efficient operations
- Assist with minor equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Represent Metro Logistics professionally at client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years dump truck experience
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong knowledge of local routes and NJ traffic regulations
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- HAZMAT endorsement a plus
