Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 dump trucks for material transport on construction sites and industrial zones
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage loading/unloading operations using hydraulic controls and safety procedures
- Navigate complex job sites and urban routes while maintaining on-time delivery schedules
- Document daily operations using electronic logging systems
- Collaborate with dispatch and site supervisors to optimize workflow
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis metro area and surrounding counties
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Must pass background check and MVR verification
