Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks (10-15 yard capacity) at construction sites, quarries, and landfills
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage loading/unloading operations using hydraulic controls
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and site supervisors
- Maintain clean vehicles and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- 2+ years of dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Dallas metroplex roadways and construction zones
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and lift 50+ lbs
