Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials and debris across Austin metro sites
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT regulations while navigating complex job sites
- Collaborate with foremen and project managers to optimize delivery schedules
- Manage load weights and distribution for maximum efficiency and regulatory compliance
- Document daily operations and submit timely paperwork to dispatch office
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Austin-area roadways and construction site protocols
- Pass background check, drug screening, and physical fitness assessment
- DOT medical certification and Hazmat endorsement preferred
