Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 dump trucks and end-dump trailers on challenging Alaskan terrain
- Transport construction materials, aggregates, and heavy equipment to project sites
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch and site supervisors for efficient load scheduling
- Operate in all weather conditions including extreme cold and winter road conditions
- Maintain clean driving record and participate in ongoing training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with tanker and doubles/triples endorsements
- Minimum 3 years recent dump truck experience in heavy haul operations
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme temperatures
- Knowledge of Alaskan road systems and winter driving techniques
- Drug-free certification and ability to pass background check
- Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts in remote environments
- Experience with GPS navigation and electronic logging systems
