Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and end-dump trailers on construction sites and haul routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload materials at job sites with precision and efficiency
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Navigate challenging terrain and weather conditions in Alaska's unique environment
- Collaborate with dispatch and site supervisors to optimize delivery schedules
- Complete daily paperwork and electronic logging accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years dump truck operation experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Alaska roadways and seasonal driving conditions
- Strong attention to safety and detail-oriented mindset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in extreme weather
- Experience with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
