Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for construction material transport in Durham metro area
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate with site supervisors for efficient material delivery schedules
- Adhere strictly to OSHA, DOT, and local safety regulations
- Perform basic troubleshooting and report maintenance needs
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant worksite practices
- Utilize GPS technology for optimized routing and delivery
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (5+ years)
- 2+ years dump truck operation experience
- Current DOT medical certification
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate in variable weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with construction materials and site protocols
- Strong spatial awareness and terrain navigation skills
