Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A dump trucks for commercial construction and demolition projects
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload materials at job sites while adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors and project managers to meet delivery schedules
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Operate GPS navigation systems and communicate effectively with dispatch team
- Perform minor equipment troubleshooting and report maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating dump trucks in construction/industrial settings
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Texas DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Valid TWIC card preferred
