Responsibilities
- Operate a modern tractor-trailer on dedicated regional routes with consistent weekly schedules
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining strict safety compliance and DOT regulations
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and on-time performance
- Utilize advanced fleet management systems for route optimization and proactive issue resolution
- Collaborate with dispatch team to maintain 99%+ on-time delivery rate
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years recent OTR/long-haul driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate in varied weather conditions
- Strong familiarity with California regional roadways and border crossings
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Proficient in ELD systems and fleet management software
- Exceptional time management and customer service skills
