Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere to strict FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Optimize routes to ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining fuel efficiency
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain professional conduct representing Elite Logistics Group standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR driving experience with dedicated routes preferred
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Flexibility for occasional overnight stays when required
