Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes serving Massachusetts and surrounding states
- Maintain meticulous electronic logs (ELD) and comply with all FMCSA regulations
- Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections per company protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Handle specialized freight requiring temperature control or hazardous materials endorsement
- Document all delivery discrepancies and maintain accurate shipment records
- Participate in quarterly safety training and equipment certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 3 years verifiable OTR experience
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years)
- HAZMAT endorsement required; tanker endorsement preferred
- Proficiency in ELD systems and basic route navigation technology
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate in all weather conditions
- Successful completion of company background check and drug screening
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and on-time delivery performance
- Experience with refrigerated or flatbed freight highly desirable
