Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated routes between Baltimore and key East Coast hubs
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate ELD logs
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of specialized freight
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding deliveries
- Maintain clean driving record and uphold company safety standards
- Optimize routes for efficiency while meeting delivery deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with 2+ years verifiable OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of East Coast geography and logistics
- Experience with refrigerated or flatbed freight preferred
- Proficient in using electronic logging devices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied weather conditions
- Strong time management and communication skills
