Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for multi-stop deliveries across San Francisco Bay Area
- Plan and optimize daily delivery routes remotely using our digital dispatch system
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight with precision and verify delivery documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain all required certifications
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Represent Pacific Coast Transport with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient with digital route planning tools and mobile technology
- Strong navigation skills in urban environments and coastal routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including early mornings and weekends
