Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for local/regional routes within San Diego and surrounding areas
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance requirements
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status and updates
- Handle secure cargo transportation with meticulous attention to detail
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Strong knowledge of San Diego County roadways and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility for early morning start times (4:00 AM)
