Responsibilities
- Operate box truck safely and efficiently on dedicated regional routes
- Maintain impeccable vehicle maintenance records and ensure DOT compliance
- Manage loading/unloading operations with precision and care
- Optimize delivery schedules for maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Utilize our advanced dispatch system for real-time route updates
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Submit accurate daily logs and expense reports
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years recent box truck or straight truck experience
- Proven on-time delivery rate above 95%
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Toledo metro area and surrounding regions
- Reliable personal vehicle (box truck) in excellent condition
- Basic computer literacy for dispatch systems
- Commercial insurance coverage ($1M liability minimum)
