Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain a box truck (26ft+) safely and efficiently
- Manage end-to-end logistics including loading, transport, and unloading
- Adhere to strict delivery timelines and customer service standards
- Utilize GPS tracking systems for route optimization and real-time updates
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients throughout the supply chain
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- DOT medical certification and compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Strong knowledge of California highway systems and local routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Reliable personal box truck in excellent mechanical condition
- Basic proficiency in digital dispatch platforms
