Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (26ft-53ft) for local/regional freight delivery in Santa Ana and Southern California
- Manage complete logistics cycle: loading, transportation, unloading, and documentation
- Maintain impeccable vehicle maintenance records and pre/post-trip inspections
- Optimize routes for maximum efficiency using provided GPS/dispatch systems
- Build client relationships through professional on-time deliveries and communication
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Submit accurate delivery logs and expense reports weekly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years commercial experience)
- Proof of active box truck ownership or lease (title required)
- Minimum 2 years recent box truck experience in regional freight
- Strong knowledge of Southern California roadways and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Commercial insurance with $1M liability coverage
- DOT medical certification and required permits
- Reliable smartphone with data access for dispatch communication
