Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks (10ft-26ft) safely and efficiently in urban and highway environments.
- Secure cargo using straps and pallet jacks, ensuring full compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage all necessary paperwork, including Bills of Lading (BOL) and delivery receipts.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure truck and trailer condition.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols to minimize risk.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent commercial operator's license.
- Current DOT medical card and proof of insurance (Minimum $1,000,000 liability).
- Achieve a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Experience in local delivery, freight hauling, or construction material transport preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills and professionalism when interacting with customers.
