Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks on dedicated routes within Corpus Christi metro area and Texas Gulf Coast
- Manage secure cargo transportation with precise delivery timelines and documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure DOT compliance
- Optimize route efficiency while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time load adjustments and client communications
- Track mileage, expenses, and delivery metrics for revenue optimization
- Maintain professional customer relationships during loading/unloading operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 3 years box truck experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 5 years
- DOT medical certification and current hazmat endorsement preferred
- Proven track record of on-time delivery rates above 95%
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate loading equipment
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for preventative maintenance
- Strong time management and route optimization capabilities
- Reliable box truck (2007+ model) with proper insurance coverage
