Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for regional freight transportation
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency and on-time performance
- Build strong client relationships through professional service delivery
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Manage inventory tracking and secure cargo handling procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours including weekends
- Strong knowledge of Toledo metro area and surrounding regions
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for preventive maintenance
- Commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum coverage)
- DOT medical certification and required credentials
- Proven track record of on-time delivery performance
