Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul routes across the continental US
- Maintain accurate electronic logging and comply with FMCSA regulations
- Perform thorough pre-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load management and delivery timelines
- Ensure secure handling and documentation of freight in accordance with company policies
- Represent the company professionally in customer interactions and at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong understanding of Hours of Service (HOS) regulations
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining communication protocols
- Willingness to spend extended periods away from home (1-3 weeks)
