Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver Amazon packages on time and in pristine condition
- Utilize advanced GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during package interactions and address delivery inquiries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation through mobile scanning technology
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and Amazon's delivery standards
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve route challenges and optimize delivery windows
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience with commercial vehicle operation
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Proficiency with mobile scanning technology and route navigation apps
- Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
