Responsibilities
- Operate box truck safely and efficiently across Northern California routes
- Maintain rigorous compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Optimize delivery schedules to maximize on-time performance and fuel efficiency
- Manage freight documentation and coordinate with dispatch team
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Build client relationships through professional service delivery
- Utilize GPS technology for route optimization and real-time tracking
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proven on-time delivery rate above 95%
- Strong knowledge of California transportation regulations
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Reliable personal box truck (2015 or newer)
- Commercial insurance coverage ($1M liability minimum)
- Basic accounting and expense management skills
