Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local/regional routes
- Coordinate loading/unloading with warehouse teams
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Optimize routes for maximum efficiency and fuel savings
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability)
- Reliable box truck (2015 or newer)
- Strong knowledge of Portland metro area
- Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting
- Entrepreneur mindset and self-motivation
