Responsibilities
- Operate well-maintained box trucks for local/regional freight delivery with 100% on-time performance
- Manage pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance records
- Optimize delivery routes using our proprietary dispatch software for maximum efficiency
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional communication
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with logistics team for seamless load planning and execution
- Submit timely digital paperwork and delivery confirmations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience with verifiable references
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability coverage)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in GPS navigation and basic smartphone technology
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Reliable personal box truck (2015 or newer, under 200k miles)
- Must reside within 50 miles of San Diego
