Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26 ft) for local and regional freight deliveries
- Load/unload shipments with proper material handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Optimize routes to ensure on-time delivery performance
- Communicate professionally with clients and dispatch team
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL (or equivalent state certification)
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Smartphone proficiency for route navigation and apps
- Reliable personal box truck (24-26 ft)
