Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction debris, soil, and aggregate materials to job sites
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and digital vehicle maintenance reporting
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols for all operations
- Coordinate with dispatchers via remote communication apps for real-time routing updates
- Manage electronic documentation (e-logs, delivery confirmations) using mobile platforms
- Conduct site-specific material unloading with precision and minimal environmental impact
- Participate in virtual safety training and compliance updates monthly
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years experience operating dump trucks or heavy construction vehicles
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and mobile fleet management apps
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of California highway regulations and local Santa Ana routes
- OSHA 10-hour construction safety certification preferred
- Reliable transportation to Santa Ana hub for equipment checks
- Basic smartphone proficiency for remote task management
