Responsibilities
- Safely operate Amazon delivery vehicles to transport packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and use handheld scanning technology for real-time tracking
- Provide exceptional customer service during package deliveries and address customer inquiries
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and Amazon's delivery standards at all times
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges and exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A or B or clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service orientation and communication abilities
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings, nights, and weekends
- Basic familiarity with GPS navigation systems
